Lisa - Owner/Makeup Artist
Hi! I'm an extreme dog lover with an obsession for makeup, Lord of the Rings, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and SpongeBob SquarePants. I live in North Fort Worth, where I have a home studio, & I've been a working makeup artist in the DFW area for over ten years. I love doing weddings, and working with photographers for family portraits, boudoir and senior photos. My biggest love of all though is my rescued chi senior, Benson. He's my soul mate. So if you have a dog, more than likely, we're going to get along real well!
Julia - Makeup Artist
I have loved makeup since 8th grade, when I would use my Urban Decay eyeshadows to do my friend's makeup in choir! I attended Toni&Guy in 2014 and I obtained a TX cosmetology license. I have also attended classes like the Makeup by Mario Master Class. I worked for Sephora, as well as Chanel for two years, where I really learned to master my craft. Weddings are my passion because I work with the most amazing people and I have the opportunity to do what I love! "If you do a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life."

As the oldest of 5 girls, I was introduced to the joys of hairstyling at an early age. Becoming a bridal hairstylist was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and for the last 10+ years I have been blessed to be a part of so many beautiful weddings and special occasions, first in Southwest Missouri and now in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. When I’m not styling hair, you can find me walking outdoors, playing pickleball, spending time with family and friends, performing as a background vocalist, or planning my next travel adventure! Do You Clean Your Products?
BBWellington sanitizes all brushes between each client while at a job, and uses alcohol to kill bacteria on eyeliner/lip pencils. Disposable wands are used for mascara and lip products. You'll find a bottle of antibacterial soap at each of our stations. After every job/wedding, we deep clean our brushes, ready for the next one!

BBWellington uses the best of the best. Our artists use a variety of professional brands such as DIOR, MAC, Makeup by Mario, Natasha Denona, Hourglass, Marc Jacobs, Colour Pop, Make Up For Ever, Ben Nye, RCMA and many others. We focus on providing products that guarantee the longevity of your makeup and foundations that are suitable for all skin types and skin tones.
Why Should I Do A Trial Run?
Our stylists at BBWellington highly recommend for our clients to have their hair and makeup done before their big day. This helps our clients to know their stylists and understand that they are in good hands for their wedding day. During this time, we want to see pictures of your dress, inspirational pictures and ask lifestyle questions so our stylists can personalize the look that will best suit you. This time gives our brides the opportunity to customize their look and get it just right before the big day! We want to ensure that you look and feel your absolute best to conquer this special day.
Why Should I Hire a Professional Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist for My Day of?
There are several reasons why it is important to hire a professional makeup artist and/or hair stylist for your big day. First, lets talk about professional photography. You are investing a lot of money into your photos so you will want you and your bridal party to look their absolute best. Our artists at BBWellington work closely with photographers. We use makeup that has HD technology so it looks beautiful on film or in photography. Second, it's nice to sit and be pampered before an evening of events!
Do I Need to Pay a Deposit?
Yes, you will need to pay a deposit and sign a contract to secure your date. The deposit amount will vary depending on what/how many services you are needing.
What Type of Payment Do You Accept?
We accept Zelle. We also accept Venmo, and credit card payments, but with a 3.3% fee, which we can send an invoice for via our website.
Do You Have a Minimum?
Yes we do require a booking of $600 of services day of (this does not include the trial, travel or parking in the total).
What are the steps to book?
Step 1: Fill out an inquiry
Step 2: We will send your quote
Step 3: Accept the quote we sent
Step 4: We will contact you for information to fill a contract out
Step 5: We will send your contract for review/signature
Step 6: Sign your contract and send your deposit
Step 7: You are in our calendar!!
Do you do airbrush?
No, we no longer offer airbrush services. After many years in the wedding industry, we as a collective whole, have decided to move on without it. Traditional foundation provides better coverage and is long lasting.
Do you have recommendations for vendors you enjoy working with?
We sure do! Wedding Photographers, Wedding Venues, Wedding Planners or Wedding Coordinators, Florals, Wedding Gowns and even Marquee Numbers and Balloon Arches!
